Highly selective Sn/HZSM-5 catalyst for ethane ammoxidation to acetonitrile and ethylene

چکیده

The ammoxidation of ethane over the conventional metal oxide and Co/zeolite catalysts faces challenge inadequate selectivity owing to formation CO2, N2, NOx. Here we report that Sn modified ZSM-5 catalyst is highly selective for ammoxidation. C- N-based acetonitrile selectivities are up 80 % 70 Sn/HZSM-5, but they below 60 20 %, Co/HZSM-5. We suggested (IV) cations critical active sites formation, presence nanosized SnOx particles favors CO2 formation. Transient kinetics analysis Sn/HZSM-5 follows same reaction pathways as However, surface abundancy intermediates these two different, which could be reason enhanced in contrast Co (II) zeolite.

Efficient, selective, and green: catalyst tuning for highly enantioselective reactions of ethylene.

Fine tuning of the biaryl and amino moieties of Feringa's phosphoramidite ligands yields structurally simpler, yet more efficient and selective, ligands for asymmetric hydrovinylation of vinylarenes and acylic 1,3-dienes. The enantioselectivities and yields observed in the formation of the 3-arylbutenes are among the highest for all asymmetric catalytic processes reported to date for the synthe...

In Silico Design of Highly Selective Mo-V-Te-Nb-O Mixed Metal Oxide Catalysts for Ammoxidation and Oxidative Dehydrogenation of Propane and Ethane.

We used density functional theory quantum mechanics with periodic boundary conditions to determine the atomistic mechanism underlying catalytic activation of propane by the M1 phase of Mo-V-Nb-Te-O mixed metal oxides. We find that propane is activated by Te═O through our recently established reduction-coupled oxo activation mechanism. More importantly, we find that the C-H activation activity o...

Application of Zeotype SAPO-34 Molecular Sieve as a Selective Adsorbent for Separation of Ethylene from Ethane

The process of ethylene production from ethane dehydrogenation is one of the interesting processes in the field of conversion the petroleum light gases to the valuable products. In this process, the outlet gaseous product is a combination of ethylene, ethane and hydrogen. Effective separation techniques are required for separation of ethylene from unreacted ethane. Here a new adsorbent approach...

Highly selective adsorption of ethylene over ethane in a MOF featuring the combination of open metal site and π-complexation.

The introduction of the combination of open metal site (OMS) and π-complexation into MOF has led to very high ethylene-ethane adsorption selectivity at 318 K, as illustrated in the context of MIL-101-Cr-SO3Ag. The interactions with ethylene from both OMS and π-complexation in MIL-101-Cr-SO3Ag have been investigated by in situ IR spectroscopic studies and computational calculations, which sugges...
